The publication of an article forms the foundation of the development of an academic network. This scientific publication method prompts the parties involved to abide by the ethical guidelines that embody the standard ethical behavior expected out of them. Most of the renowned and acclaimed journals maintain the highest level of standards by providing guidelines for authors, reviewers and the journal editors.

Publishing ethics reflect the quality of the author's work and defines the goodwill of a journal publisher. With an aim to support the associated parties, we have listed some guidelines that they must adhere to while being into the process of journal paper publication.

To begin with, we have the Ethical guidelines for the authors who plan to submit their work to qualified journals:

  • Authors must ensure of the work's originality and non-plagiarism
  • Accurate representation of the authors with their consent to publication
  • Reference sources and publications are appropriately and completely cited

  • Unbiased, just and fair consideration must be given by the reviewers
  • The review process must be kept confidential
  • Any information regarding the potential conflict of interest must be declared well in advance
  • A comprehensive and evidenced review report must be attached
  • Review process must reasonably be accomplished in a timely manner
  • Reviewers must stay in constant contact with the editor
  • The use of offensive statements must be avoided

  • Make thorough investigation in case of any claim for already published work by the reviewer
  • Make reasonable efforts to complete the process on time
  • Accept paper for peer reviewing only if it is relevant to the scope of the journal
